North London Hospice’s brand-new sculpture trail, the Big Fun Art Adventure was officially launched by the Mayor of Haringey Lester Buxton and Mayor of Barnet Nagus Narenthira at a special event held at Jacksons Lane Theatre on Wednesday 27 September.

Have you met `Nocturnals` yet? He swooped in late last week to temporarily replace `Park Life` who needed to be taken away for repairs, sadly due to being vandalised.

Introducing Crouch End Clock Tower by @Christinagdesigns and sponsored by @mclgroupplc 🦉
Artist Christina absolutely loves creating paintings of her favourite local landmarks such as Bruce Castle Museum, Alexandra Palace and Tottenham Town Hall. Born and raised in Tottenham, Christina is proud to be part of this community.
“I create paintings of places that I love and enjoy in London. I paint pubs with ice rinks to give it magical feel. With the crouch end clock tower, I wanted to be playful with the colours by using different strokes of paint.”

Meet our wonderful owl Athena by @RoomaMakes. 🦉
Local artist Rooma loves to create. With a background in printed textiles and drawing, she enjoys using mixed media and designing with flowing lines and shapes.
“I like following the form and how lines interact, sometimes creating an optical Illusion with the lines. I like to also include Indian influenced floral details within some of my paintings which gives the design a lift.”
“I was born in Hackney and still live here. My family are from Mauritius, and this does have an influence. I love colour, I love culture and travelling.”

After months in the planning, it is great to be able to share all the work that has gone on behind the scenes over the last year to bring Big Fun Art Adventure to the streets of @haringeycouncil.
Here we share a behind the scenes look at how author @rbiddulph Eugene’s Owl came to life.
We’ll be sharing more videos over the coming weeks of our artists creating their beautiful sculptures. A whole lot of creativity, dedication and love has been put into all our owls and we’re so proud ❤️
