Rooma loves to create. Her background is in printed textiles and drawing has always been her go to. She enjoys using various methods, most of her work is mixed media. She likes texture and movement in her work. Rooma was born in Hackney and still lives there. Her family are from Mauritius, and this does have an influence. She loves colour, culture and travelling. Athena has been created using flowing lines, with some geometric aspects. She likes following the form and how lines interact, sometimes creating an optical Illusion with the lines. She also likes to include Indian influenced floral details which gives the design a lift.
