Muswell Hill Primary School’s owlet design reflects the surroundings of our lovely school, nestled between the parks of Alexander Palace, The Grove and Highgate Woods. There are greens and browns in beautiful intricate patterns mirroring the woods and green areas of our playground. Our design competition winner is Laya, in Sapphire class and our owlet’s name, Blossom, was chosen by the children in Gold Class. (Year 2)
A lasting legacy
Did you know that at the end of the trail all of the large owl sculptures are auctioned to raise money for North London Hospice? The smaller owls – our owlets – are returned to their forever homes with their school or community group.
