David Samuel, an artist and designer from London celebrated for his distinctive abstract painting style. In 2003, David pioneered a burgeoning artistic movement by establishing the UK’s inaugural graffiti art gallery, known as ‘RareKind.’ He hosted exhibitions featuring some of the nation’s most esteemed and recognised graffiti artists. David works in an abstract style using paint mixing as the base to every design. The brush strokes made on scrap pieces of paper whilst producing these pieces are where the inspiration for this piece has come. He has zoomed in and cropped the paper to make the design for this piece, using the sections of the owl for different crops of the paper.
